Sherco star, Dan Peace from Kirbymoorside in North Yorkshire will take on the 2026 Highland Classic, but swaps his usual factory Sherco for a 500cc Triumph Twin. He is entering the spirit of the event which is the ‘British Four-Stroke Edition’ by riding a British four-stroke!

28 year old Peace will be competing for the ‘David Page Memorial Challenge Award’, for the best performance by a rider under 35 years of age. David Page was the eldest son of ISDT multiple gold medalist Ernie Page and was one of the most promising trials riders from Scotland who sadly died aged 19 from leukaemia. Page had secured support from Yamaha and had just begun riding the TYZ model in 1993, shortly before his death.
