Award winners will receive their glassware shortly as they are currently being engraved by the manufacturers.

Highland Class Two-Day Trial – The British Four-Stroke Edition

Main Awards 2026:

Ray Sangster Memorial Trophy:For the best performance by a rider, over 35 years of age, competing in classes 1,2,3,4 or 5 riding the A route, achieving the lowest score over the two days of the trial, andwill be declared winner of the trial. – GARY MACDONALD (1)

Derek J. Edgar Trophy: – Awarded to the oldest finisher. – MICK GRANT

 Schreiber Vase:For the best performance by a rider over 35 years of age, competing on the Laird Jamie’s Challenge B route. – BERNIE SCHREIBER (0)

David Page Memorial Challenge Award:For the best performance by a rider, under the age of 35 years of age, competing on either the A or B route** achieving the lowest score over the two days of the trial. – BRETT STEIN (1)

Terry Hill Challenge Award:For the best performance by a rider, residing in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, competing on either the A or B route** achieving the lowest score over the two days of the trial. (No age restriction). – TERENCE MCKEE (5)

Mary Driver Challenge Award:For the best performance by a Lady competitor competing on either the A or B route**, achieving the lowest score over the two days of the trial. (No age restriction). – RACHEL DARLEY (35)

The Alvie Estate Award:For the best performance by a competitor who is not a resident of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, competing in either the A or B route**, achieving the lowest score over the two days of the trial. (No age restriction). – TOM KNIGHT – (4) – Isle of Man

The Peter C. Valente Quaich:For the best performance by a rider on the B Route, over 35 years of age at the time of the event. – DERRICK EDMONDSON (1)

All the main trophies will be engraved and are retained by the club; however, the winners will receive an award after the event for their retention. **Note: The lowest individual number of marks will determine the best performance on either of the two routes A or B. If there is a tie in any class or award, the oldest competitor will be declared the best performer.
