From 2026, the organisers will present the lady competitor being the best performance on either the A or B routes with the Mary Driver Challenge award.
(Note: The lowest individual number of marks will determine the best performance on either of the two routes A or B. If there is a tie on marks, the oldest competitor will be declared the best performer.)

This will be awarded to the highest placed lady rider on either of the routes.
Mary Driver was a trials rider who competed regularly in the 1960s in national trials, the SSDT and the ISDT on predominantly Greeves and BSA motorcycles. Mary was an inspiration to other lady competitors at a time when trials was a male dominated sport. She later became the ACU Competitions Manager.
