Terry Hill Challenge Award

Commencing in 2026, the organisers will present the following award:

The Terry Hill Challenge Award, for the best performance by a rider who is resident in Northern Ireland or the Republic on either the A or B routes.

The award is in remembrance of Terry Hill who was a well known Irish trials rider who rode a factory supplied BSA and then Bultacos. He competed in many Scottish Six Days Trials and there is a memorial trial held in his native Ireland. Terry was also a sponsor of many Irish competitors.

The Temple Motorcycle and Athletic Club continues to organize and run the Terry Hill Trial, and celebrated its sixtieth anniversary in 2024.
