Here are the details of the main trophies awarded at the Highland Classic Two Day Trial:
Ray Sangster Memorial Trophy – Overall winner of the Highland Classic Two Day Trial – For the best performance by a rider over 35 years of age, competing on the A route.
David Page Memorial Challenge Award – Best performance by a rider under 35 years of age on the A route.
Derek J. Edgar Trophy – Oldest Finisher.
Schreiber Vase – Best performance for the Laird Jamie’s Challenge – shortened B Route.
Terry Hill Challenge Award – Best performance by an Irish Rider. [1]
Mary Driver Challenge Award – Best Performance by a lady rider. [2]
The Alvie Estate Trophy – Best overseas rider* [3]
Peter C. Valente Trophy – Best performance by a rider on the full B Route, over 35 years of age at the time of the event.
From 2026 the following trophies will be awarded:
[1] – The Terry Hill Challenge Award – For the best performance by a competitor, who is a resident of Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, competing on the A or B route** of the trial. (A replica will be awarded to the winner)
[2] – The Mary Driver Challenge Award – For the best performance by a lady competitor, competing on the A or B route** of the trial. (A replica will be awarded to the winner)

[3] – *The Alvie Estate Trophy – For the Best performance by a competitor, not being a resident of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland or the Irish Republic, competing on the A or B Route** of the trial (A replica will be awarded to the winner)
Note: ** The lowest individual number of marks will determine the best performance on either of the two routes A or B. If there is a tie on marks, the oldest competitor will be declared the best performer.
